  • School dormitory

    The students are divided according to age and gender and are accommodated in separate dormitories. The school has two dormitories for its students, one for Sixth Form boys and girls and the other for 11- to 13-year-old students. Sixth Form students benefit from single rooms with private bathrooms.

  • School meals

    The West Buckland School breakfast menu is very varied, and students can choose from a variety of hot and cold foods, juices and smoothies, pastries, bacon, eggs, and porridge. The chefs are well aware of the importance of diet in the growth and learning of students and try to ensure their health by providing nutritious foods. Lunch schedules of different classes are different, and students' food is served at other times.

  • School medical services

    The health center of this school is managed by medical staff with high skill standards.     West Buckland School is on a 90-acre campus on the outskirts of Woolacombe Beach. The school campus, with its historical, modern, and well-equipped buildings, is of spectacular beauty. Among the highlights of the school is the Department of Art and Design, which has a 100-seat theater. West Buckland students enjoy a variety of facilities, including sports fields.

  • Quality of education

    The school students have consistently achieved brilliant results in the final exams; the school is considered one of the best schools in the southwest of England. In 2019, 53% of students scored 7-9 on the GCSE, and about 75% achieved A*-B on the A-Level. These results are higher than the national average.
