About Abbey

Abbey College was founded in 1990 and is part of the Alpha Plus Group of Independent Schools and Colleges. The college trains students for admission to the universities of their choice by having flexible and appropriate curricula for each person and creating a happy and friendly environment. The students of this college have the best grades and GCSE and A-Level exams scores. Abbey College students are trained to be creative, hardworking, innovative, and independent, with high self-confidence.

  • College dormitory

    The dormitories have two parts based on the age of the students; for students under 16 years old and for students over 16. Students over the age of 16 can choose to live in a dormitory or with a local family. If staying in a dormitory, they will have single bedrooms with all the amenities. Students under the age of 16 will live with local families. The proposed families are carefully selected. In these houses, a large bedroom with all facilities is provided to students.

  • College meals

    The catering team cares about students' health, taking into account different food tastes and diets according to allergies and preparing the best food from the freshest and highest quality local ingredients.

  • College medical services

    The health center of this college is managed by medical staff with high skill standards. The center provides services to students, including prescribing medication and health advice, information on diet and healthy living, assessing student health and medical services, and, if necessary, referrals to doctors, dentists, and other specialists.

  • Student visa

    The College Campus includes an extensive study center, 28 fully equipped classrooms, 5 top science labs, an art studio, a darkroom photography studio, two computer suites, and a college nursing care center. Abbey College is in the heart of Manchester, a short distance from all amenities. There is also a free bus service that connects the four main railway stations. It has strong links with the University of Manchester, the largest independent university in the United Kingdom and one of the most important universities.

  • Quality of education

    In 2019, 98% of the students passed the A-Level exam. Abbey students are accepted into various academic disciplines every year, including medicine, dentistry, law, engineering, computer science, mathematics, economics, accounting, business, and the arts.
