The Champitet summer camp is the best in Switzerland. In the beautiful setting of Lausanne, on the shores of Lake Geneva, the center creates a safe and helpful environment for students by combining fun games, long-distance travel, fun team challenges, and leadership workshops. The camp welcomes 11- to 17-year-old students. It is run by senior instructors and professional mountain guides who experience being in an Alpine and lakeside location unforgettable for students. There are two types of camp plans: first, a day camp for residents of Lausanne and the area around Lake Geneva, lasting 17 and a half hours from 7 to 14 days, and second, a 2-week camp in a boarding house 4 The Champitet college floor and the surrounding area provide spacious, gender-segregated rooms for camp members. 15% of the camp time is devoted to leadership strategy classes and 85% outdoor activities and games. Courses at the camp include disciplines such as filmmaking, first aid training, time management/goal setting/prioritization, communication/interview/lecture, group work and roles, good manners and etiquette, ballet and Latin dance workshop, and more. Camp sports also include canoeing, ice climbing, rock climbing, bowling, golf, and more. The camp attracts members from more than 51 different nationalities. The camp chef prepares fresh and healthy meals for everyone, with a unique balance and diet.
